Shipping policy

1. Scope
This policy governs the shipment of every product (“Item”) purchased through our official online store. If anything here conflicts with another store policy, this document prevails.
2. Production & Dispatch Time
All pieces are made to order. Production takes 4–8 weeks from confirmation of payment. Estimated ship dates are included in your “Order Confirmation” e‑mail. Lead times may extend during peak seasons or due to material shortages.

*Transit time begins after dispatch. Customs inspection, weather, or force‑majeure events can cause delays.
4. Shipping Charges

Free worldwide shipping
We cover all shipping costs, both within Japan and internationally. -
VAT included
Where VAT applies (e.g., the EU and the UK), we either pre-pay the tax or collect it at checkout and remit it on your behalf. No additional VAT will be charged upon delivery. -
Duties & customs-clearance fees (DDP)
・All orders are shipped under DDP – Delivered Duty Paid terms.
・Duties and customs-clearance fees are automatically calculated at checkout and paid together with your order total. The carrier will not request further payment on delivery. -
How duties and fees are calculated
・Amounts are determined automatically according to the destination country’s customs regulations, using each product’s HS code and country of origin.
・The calculated figure appears in your order summary as “Duties & Import Taxes.”

A full breakdown of duties and customs fees is also shown on your electronic receipt, which you may download for your records.
5. Loss or Damage in Transit
All shipments are insured. If your parcel is lost or arrives damaged:

Contact us at hello@lanriajewelry.com within 7 days of delivery (attach photos if damaged).

We will open a carrier investigation.

Depending on the outcome we will re‑make and reship your item or issue a full refund.
Once a parcel shows “Delivered” in the carrier’s tracking system, any theft or loss that occurs after delivery may fall outside the insurance coverage and may not be reimbursable.
6. Incorrect Address or Failed Delivery
If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect address, relocation, refusal, or extended absence:
Option A – Cancel the order. All actual costs already incurred (production costs, outbound & return freight) are non‑refundable.
Option B – Reship. You pay both outbound and return freight before we dispatch again.
7. Restricted Destinations
Orders may be cancelled if the destination is subject to trade sanctions, import prohibitions, or designated as a high‑risk zone.
8. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or non‑performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, war, strikes, pandemics, governmental restrictions, etc.).
9. Amendments
We may modify this policy without prior notice. The version posted on this website at the time of purchase applies.
